Our Story

Our owner, Jose Murillo, has spent the majority of his life working in the restaurant industry and crafting his culinary skills. His family owned a local restaurant that Jose starting working in when he was young, learning how to cook authentic Mexican meals that made people smile. It was everything he knew and loved, so when he had the opportunity to establish his own restaurant in 2021, the decision was an easy one. Blue Cactus Tacos and Tequila Bar is proud to serve the Franklin community and surrounding areas and happy to share recipes and good times with our friends and family.

We proudly offer authentic and upscale Mexican dishes that cannot be matched in taste or quality. From our hearty tacos and burritos to our handcrafted cocktails and drinks, we have something on the menu for everyone to try. We’re a family owned and operated business with years of culinary knowledge and tradition that comes across on every plate we serve. We pride ourselves on offering the best traditional, authentic Mexican food boasting with flavors that we love, and we know you’ll love them too.
